Curatorial Statement

The silence of wilderness demands unwavering patience.

My work is rooted in solitary endurance across the extreme peripheries of Iceland, New Zealand, and Patagonia. To capture the elemental character of these high-latitude landscapes requires waiting out relentless squalls, sub-zero winds, and days of blinding fog until the atmosphere reveals itself in brief, extraordinary clarity.

Light chasing is not about manufactured spectacle—it is an exercise in listening. I practice strict low-impact expedition ethics, traversing ancient moraines, volcanic moss, and delicate ice shelves without leaving a single permanent trace. Every print stands as an authentic testament to places that belong solely to the wind.

Solitary Patience

Waiting days through sub-polar squalls for the singular break of alpine light.

Expedition Ethics

Zero-impact passage across fragile glacial margins and volcanic moss fields.

Unfiltered Fidelity

Respecting natural color gradation and atmospheric density without artificial distortion.

“The large format print of the Vatnajokull ice shelf arrived in flawless condition. The depth of the mineral tones and subtle raking shadows on Hahnemuhle Baryta archival paper surpasses even museum viewing standards.”
